The Brick Farm Market is OPEN! My family has lived in and around Hopewell Borough since 1947, so I have a deep sense of pride and excitement whenever cool things happen here. This place is cool, indeed: the old Malek Chevrolet building has been transformed into an incredible space with gorgeous produce, farm-fresh salads and prepared foods, unbelievable baked goods, a butcher shop, beautiful cheeses, and a real cup of coffee. The focus is on local, sustainable products – so our seasonal note card collaboration is a perfect fit.
Every season, I will be photographing beautiful details from Double Brook Farm (and maybe even the market) and transforming them into lovely greeting cards. We will sell twenty-four packages containing six unique images, blank inside, printed on environmentally friendly bamboo paper with matching euro flap envelopes. Like most things at the market, they are “limited edition” – when they sell out they are gone until the next season arrives! So, hurry in to have a taste of their great offerings – and pick up your “Spring” cards before they sell out. Better yet, let’s meet at the market soon for lunch or a cup of coffee:)
P.S. If you happen to use the (ahem) facilities at the market…check out the artwork on the walls:) Little fine art flower photographs I just love, shot in film. Of course I forgot to go in there to take pictures – will do it soon!
Here are a few photos from their first full day of business:
